Benefits Of Solar Roof Ventilators
Solar Roof Ventilators help reduce your electricity bills! Using a premium brushless motor solar system, the solar roof ventilator effectively replaces up to 10 traditional ventilators.
Be sure to check out our Solar Ventilator Video which shows the strength of the vent’s solar powered suction!
The Kimberley Solar Roof Ventilator is designed to take advantage of free and clean solar energy to protect your home from airborne moisture related damage to building materials.
Moisture and humid air gathers in the roof cavity and condense into water droplets when the roof cools. Activities such as showering, cooking and doing the laundry add to this, which can lead to mildew that damages plasterboard, weakens building materials and ultimately leads to electrical problems.
The Kimberley Solar Ventilator effortlessly extracts the heat and moisture. Unlike rotary ventilators which are prone to noise and vibration as the bearings inevitably fail, the brushless motor of the Solar Roof Ventilator reduces the vibration from the roof vent significantly.
Our solar vents do not have a battery or store any energy. However we do have an a/c model. This means it can be plugged into mains power with out the need for the solar panel. Ideal for night time operation or shaded areas
As an owner operator I keep costs down by not having a showroom, however this means I have competitive pricing and a premium & honest service!
I also have made a YouTube channel to help demonstrate the wide range of premium ladders I sell, check it out by clicking.
During the warmest queensland months, trapped heat inside your roof cavity can reach upwards of 60°C, which heats up your interior rooms. The cooling benefit of roof ventilation depends on factors such as climate, roof material, sarking, and insulation. The ksv solar roof ventilation systems can greatly reduce your roof cavity temperature by up to 30°C by drawing the cooler air from outside into the roof cavity which provides a much cooler environment during warmer seasons.
Solar roof vents generally outperform whirlybirds due to their consistent performance and ability to regulate temperature, while whirlybirds rely on wind and can be less effective in still conditions Solar vents use a solar-powered motor to actively remove hot air, while whirlybirds, also known as wind turbines, rely on wind to spin and draw air out.
